All classes at the College are taught in English. Non-native speakers will normally be required to achieve one of the following or equivalent standards:

Extension of permission to stay in the UK
It is important that you remember to extend your visa before it expires. The College will arrange this provided the student has followed the course on which he/she is registered.
Climate and Clothing
The British climate is cooler than that of Asia, Africa, the Americas or the Caribbean. In winter, temperatures can often fall below freezing, and students from overseas should come equipped with clothes suitable for a variable weather climate that can also be wet and windy.
Employment
Many students, both British and foreign, take up paid employment during vacation periods or work part-time during the academic year.
Accommodation
Our College students should arrange accommodation in advance of their arrival in London. You are strongly advised to book this for a minimum period of one week to allow you to visit the College, get to know the area and consider where you will live for the duration of the course. (See Location.)
Our College welfare staff will assist you in finding accommodation. There is a variety of rental accommodation to consider, including hostels, lodgings, bed-sits, flats or house-shares. Sharing a rented property with friends is a popular option that can help reduce costs.

The London Business College is easily accessible and students can arrive in London via air, rail or road. London City Airport is our nearest airport, but Gatwick, Heathrow and Stansted airport are all within easy reach of Woolwich via Underground, rail, coach or bus.
